Villa 1275
The start of this project was in 2017, this site is located in the Khaneh Darya residential complex, which is a luxury residential suburb in the north of Iran. The client's demands were for a modern, open style, the most space on the ground floor, large windows facing the courtyard, and an acceptable view of the sea. The whole project is defined by the suspended box on the first floor, which has a living room and a terrace with a great view of the sea. To induce a warm feeling, wood is used as the main material. To separate the space between the wooden box and the living room on the ground floor, a gap along the length of the ceiling is used in the form of a continuous skylight. The ground floor is defined as a complete space of 120 sq. And height difference is used to characterize the sense of space. Due to the forbidden rule for having an outdoor pool, our team decided to use the combination of the L-shaped pool alongside a private space with united glass walls on the floor and ceiling. This provides a spacious space with privacy that allows one to use the pool all through the year with natural sunlight.
